Unbroken Chain is the first institution-backed liquid fund in the Bitcoin Ordinals ecosystem. We invest directly in Ordinals assets—including inscriptions, special Satoshis, and fungible tokens (e.g. BRC20)—with room to grow into non-Ordinal Bitcoin-native assets (e.g. Runes) as they develop.
We believe that the coming bull market will strongly favor Bitcoin—as evidenced by the explosive growth of Ordinals’ since its inception last year—and that Bitcoin-native assets will collectively outperform every other ecosystem in the digital asset space over the next 2-3 years.
Ordinals are an evolution in the use-case of native Bitcoin, making the transfer of arbitrary data (including images, videos, HTML, etc.) possible on Layer 1 Bitcoin—without the need for sidechains, external tokens, or off-chain servers.
The innovation of Ordinals is in the numbering of each unique Satoshi on the Bitcoin blockchain—thus making individual Satoshis “non-fungible” and enabling the transfer of data through transactions of individual Satoshis.
Created by independent developer, Casey Rodarmor, Ordinals became the fastest growing ecosystem in the digital assets space—with no venture capital support or team pre-mining.
Ordinal inscriptions are now the highest-volume “Art NFTs” in the world while the first fungible token standard built on Bitcoin (BRC20) surpassed a $5B market cap this past year.
As volume in the Ordinals ecosystem has already outpaced Ethereum NFTs, and the largest collection of Ordinal inscriptions has outpaced every project in the Ethereum ecosystem by market cap—with the exception of Cryptopunks.
We believe Ordinals—and other Bitcoin-native assets inspired by this innovation—will dominate this cycle by a wide margin.
Bitcoin “Season 2” has started.
Early on, we put together what we believe is the “dream team” for managing this unique asset class—including BRC20 protocol creator, Domo; former Ordinals core team member, Isabel Foxen Duke; and Bitcoin prop trader, Asher Corson.
Asher Corson managed a multimillion dollar digital assets portfolio for 5+ years at Consolidated Trading. As an analyst, he oversaw digital asset trading and long-term investments including early stage equity in digital asset companies. Asher has been trading Bitcoin personally since 2013 and was one of the earliest investors in BRC20 and Ordi beginning in March 2023.
Isabel Foxen Duke was a key player in the launch of the Ordinals protocol—managing communications for Ordinals creator Casey Rodarmor from February-May 2023. She has since worked closely with some of the most influential Ordinals projects in the world, including Rocktoshi’s “Bitcoin Rocks,” Nodemonkes and Ordinal Maxi Biz. Isabel supports the fund’s inscription trading strategy, manages relationships with key suppliers in the market, and directs Investor Relations.
Pseudonymous creator of the BRC20 token standard ($5B TLV), Domo, is a renowned technologist and data expert in the Ordinals and Bitcoin-native development space. He was formerly a top 100 NFT trader in the previous cycle and managed on-chain analytics for a major global payments company. Domo supports the fund with fundamental analysis of Bitcoin-native protocols, data analytics, and strategic advising on token investments. He is also the creator of Ordi, the first and highest market cap BRC20 token.
UTXO Management is an investment management company operated by leaders within Bitcoin Inc., the parent company of Bitcoin Magazine. Bitcoin Magazine is the most widely distributed crypto-focused publication in the world—and was the first major crypto publication to cover the development of the Ordinals protocol. UTXO Management Partners include Bitcoin Inc. founders David Bailey and Tyler Evans, and founding partner Coyn Mateer.
